So what's up with the Texas and Corey Raymond smoke? Something to watch if Corey did actually leave us the Notre Dame corners coach Mickens who is highly respected is very close friends with Freeman who has a secondary and LB background himself. What about the smoke regarding Terry Joseph at safety? Does Corey stay and take over the whole secondary? I would hope Marcus comes, keeps Corey, takes on linebackers himself then has say in who we go after for DL and S coach. With Bo Davis going to Texas it appears another former Tiger who would kill it from the pros is Kari Dunbar who had been with Miles, Saban, and many many pro teams. Just a stud. Is Bo Davis a done deal at Texas? They don’t even have a DC but are chasing DL and DB coaches. That’s concerning. I feel like Corey Raymond does this every year. I know he is highly sought after, but why would he leave his alma mater LSU to be a DB coach in the Big 12? And to work for Steve Sarkisian at that, especially not knowing who is actual boss would be (no DC candidates that I’ve heard yet). A promotion I would understand, but not a lateral move.
