    That's not true, that's just what Rivals lists. The only way Rivals gets that information is because the recruits tell the Clemson guys who their main recruiter is. But Koenning goes on the road to more than one area with lots of assistants and makes phone calls to dozens of guys. That is a very misleading stat considering updates have shown that recruits were extremely happy with Koenning being involved in their recruitment even if he was not their main recruiter.

    I hope that is true. We already have a DC who did little or no recruiting.

    I still think it was premature to label the thread as it stands now.

    I think Koenning might very well be the guy we looking at really hard, but in no way should he titled as the expected next DC.

    When do you want to start?
    I’m ready to recruit now. I have a five-star recruit right here in South Carolina who is ready to go wherever I go… These are young men who you build a connection with, who want to stay with you. Wherever I go, I have to make recruiting a priority… The last six years, my areas have been the Southeast. The Florida Panhandle, South Alabama… I used to be good in Dallas, but it’s been a number of years… Recruiting now is the sophomores… I have lists here of freshmen and sophomores. You have to get to know kids from scratch.

    Where is this information coming from? How do we know that they formally offered him?

    You know it's bad when islstl says something's premature.;)

    Funny.

    I guess they don't like coming in 2nd place to Sonny, as so often happens.

    certainly what i thought when i read it. I think the ncaa is waiting to see if he goes to bama or usc, then its ok.

    if anywhere else, its the death penalty.
