I may be wrong, but I think if CLM wants to get this team back on even keel and back to top tier in the SEC, save this recruiting class and possibly his job down the road he needs to hire an experienced DC. K. Norton is not the answer at this time. Maybe after two or three 7 -5 / 8 -4 seasons. But not one year removed from the NC and then going 7 -5. Norton may prove to be a dyamite DC in the future, but IMO it's not the right time for him and LSU. :geauxtige:champs::LSU231:
i would not be happy about him keeping either as sole dc, but as long as pevato leaves i'll be happy...er.
After our experiences this year, I think we need to forget about any sort of experimentation. Even if he did want to come here (which he wouldn't, IMO), Norton is way too much of a wild card to put in charge.
