I disagree with your assessment unless you know the men personally. And even then I wouldn't call anything 100 percent unfeasible. Football coaches are swayed by unexpected offers and new circumstances all the time. BTW, who's the naked gal?
My bet is that the Syracuse newspaper and the Times-Picayune copied the story off of each other. Neither of them provides quotes from Robinson that he has been contacted by LSU, in fact, he said that the information was "reaching a little bit," like it is just made up but he doesn't want to come out and say that because he likes the flattery. Media gets their stuff mixed up all the time. Herbie said Miles was going to Michigan. According to the Advocate, ESPN's Donnan said LSU had an agreement with Chavis. Yesterday, the Houston Chronicle says Mick Leach is in talks with Auburn. Today, the Birmingham News says Leach is not being considered at all by Auburn. There are conflicting stories regarding whether USC's Steve Sarkisian is taking over at Washington or not. Etc.
Now Glenn Guilbeau has gotten into the mix, basically just saying the same thing: The Post-Standard in Syracuse, N.Y., reported in Friday editions that fired Syracuse head coach Greg Robinson may have been contacted by LSU. http://www.shreveporttimes.com/article/20081205/SPORTS/81205028/1001
Same here. Robinson is a softy, IMO. Can't have that in the SEC! :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
