I started a thread about Ed. I think he'd go to LSU over UT. Even though he *hates* LSU, I bet deep down that he'd LOVE to be a Tiger.

The DCs are already gone. Its in the bag, a credible source on TD.com that is definitely in the know for the program said so. He didn't elaborate on if they were demoted, or completely fired but he said we're definitely looking for a legit DC. And have been for awhile now.

I know you guys don't like to hear about that site but the guy has never been wrong on his information...just throwing that out there.

Well Peveto coaching the LBs needs to be let go entirely.

I don't know what capacity Mallory could serve.

Mallory is extremely close to Miles, so if anyone stays its him IMO. I agree on Peveto but hes a great recruiter. I think LSU cleans that entire side of the staff out, including Lane. Was hoping LSU would get Oregeron for recruiting/d-line(doesn't appear that will happen), Ellis Johnson, DC or something.

A name to look for may be Karl Dunbar to be on our staff next year as d-line coach again or DC. He had a stint here in 05 but didn't like Pellini. He was a all SEC DE for LSU and has coaching history under Miles. He coaches a very solid Minn Viking line right now in the NFL. LSU needs to go out and spend big bucks for a DC, as well as big bucks for some position coaches. No idea if they can considering Miles salary.

Maybe Dunbar can come in and coach the DL, but I can't see Miles replacing inexperience with more inexperience at the DC position.

Agreed, Dunbar or Orgeron is my want at defensive line coach. I have no idea who we could get as secondary coach but I really like Ellis Johnson as our DC...

And I don't think Dick Bumpas is that good at all. TCU's defense isn't fully controlled by him, so he'd be a huge risk, IMO...TCU's D has been good because of their HC.

I've always thought that Dunbar likes the NFL too much. Maybe it makes sense that he didn't like Pellini. Who knows.

Frank Spaziani.. Listed as the #6 defensive coordinator on rivals.

-The Eagles have picked off nine passes in their last three games.
    -Very involved with his DBs
    -#5 total defense
    -#17 passing defense
    -#14 scoring defense
    -#7 rushing defense

Could we pull him from BC to LSU?

this is one i can agree with. watching this bc defense over the years it seems they always improve as the year progresses. and hes not working with the most talented white-boys either. well, maybe the most talented white boys.

plus he will recruit more guys with kiwanuka sounding names. like hawaii and usc.
