I know. Damn we sure miss him though. Imagine that, two guys don't equal him. They may know his scheme inside and out but they don't know how to impliment it.

If we HAVE to run that scheme then I miss him. But honestly, I hope this is the end of the scheme. He has the right scheme for the BIg 12 apparently....good luck to him!

His scheme will probably work where he is now, but it was on its last leg last season.

    The SEC figured it out.

    Wish him the best, though.

The success last season was due to the D front. The secondary got burned on big plays but when it came time for opponents in the red zone our line held. There were also drives that looked like this season but the D came up with a key turnover.

That was after two triple overtimes.

My point is they lived by the turnover...nailed a few drives by playing takeaway football.

I'm not much of a Pellini fan. I felt he got away just in time. I guess things couldn't have gotten worse though after what we ended up with.

Yup Pelini will have success in the Big XII with it... but only because there's no defense to speak of in that conference.

remove 6 possessions and 6 scores, and we jump all the way up to 83rd in the country.

we were much better between the 20's under Pelini
even with an extra game and 2 triple OT's we were tied for 13th in red zone attempts.
remove the 6 OT possessions, and we were tied for 3rd in the nation for fewest attempt in the red zone.
