Right now, whatever happens or doesn't happen, is going to take place regardless of what we say or want, with names we have no control over. My only hope is we somehow get our O & D fired up and we win this up coming bowl game. In the immediate future this all that matters.

It's not taking so long. You can't expect this to happen overnight. For one thing Miles is on the road recruiting. He has to take advantage of these opportunities as he gets them. Secondly, before he can fire a coach and hire a replacement, he has to evaluate the coach and talk to him about his decision. All that takes time.
I can't get behind this line of thought. Everyone knows that Blind Retarded Monkey never makes it past the knife-fighting round in the interview process...
That would surprise the hell out of me. With all the folks basically openly admitting that LSU is talking to them through third parties (Chavis, Koenning), I think it's far fetched that Miles would be happy to keep even half of the defensive status quo.
I am hoping a deal is done with Chavis and LSU is sitting on it, waiting for BDP to leave for Northwestern and thus saving face for CLM. Either that or the season is not over for our next DC. IF Mallory becomes sole DC then it will be sad days ahead for us...:bncry:. I am trying to be optimistic, but I feel like the longer this takes the less I will like the outcome...guess we'll see. I think the only saving grace is that if he were to keep Mallory as DC he would just come out and say it...because he would not be firing BDP. Who knows?? :huh:
Well it doesn't matter at this point. Looks like we're going to be heading into a bowl game against a tough GT, with the same defective defensive scheme and finish the season off 7-6. What a helluva plan to me.
I have heard that we are looking into a CO-Blind Retarded Monkey situation. Word has it that it's going to be a Chimp and a Baboon. I've also heard we are hesitant because the Gorillas keep throwing the bannanas over the Chimps heads and the Baboons can't stop the Spider Monkeys from running past them.

Dude can't act, I doubt he can coach: I have no inside info but I believe we are getting someone at DC that is not a member of our current staff. Miles was quoted earlier in the season (I forget after which game) saying he was going to have to get involved in the defense something he had to never do before. I believe that was "Milesspeak" that he wasn't exactly thrilled about having to do so.
