What position is Darron Thomas, the 4 star athlete that played QB, likely to play for LSU especially after Jefferson's verbal?
He can play QB, but isn't particularly good. He's a natural WR. We may let him decide at first, but I don't see him leaving LSU as anything but a WR.
On Patrick Johnson (currently Miami commit), the WeAreSC recruiting coordinator/guru Scott Schrader filed this report. http://wearesc.com/news/story.php?article=431
Dandy Don makes a good point today on his site: "My question is how can the No. 8 rated high school quarterback in the nation be only a three-star player? " Anyone have an explanation ?
I thought that he was the #8 rated dual-threat QB? That could vry well make him the #16 rated overall QB.
Still wouldn't you think that would warrant a fourth star ? Really doesn't matter to me, Jacob Hester as a two star.
Correct in that he's the #8 rated dual-threat QB according to Rivals. He was a 4 star in the original rankings, but his started dropping before the season even began. As for why he doesn't have a 4th star, it just isn't a great year for QB's.
Thats what I was thinking, its just a down year for QBs. He is the 8th ranked dual threat QB, but is what, the 72nd ranked player in Florida?
