Brent Zwerneman @BrentZwerneman Chavis said A&M has every bit the talent on defense as when he took over at Tennessee and when he took over at LSU. 12:28 PM - 13 Aug 2015 · College Station, TX, United States
He will do well against a spread offense, but I am waiting to see when teams bunch em up. Unless he has stud LB's, could be a long day for the chief. When he came to LSU, he didn't need to fix a broken record. He got handed a mess and this year aint gonna be as fine tuned as he wants. Next couple years....Could be fun. Park his coverage 8 yards off the receiver and see what happens. Prevent with a minute left...Gotcha. I do hope his playbook don't change, entirely.
Unless aTm goes to a more ball control offense they'll score points and put their defense in a lot of bad positions. Saban said his up tempo style on offense last year had his defense by year's end play something close to an extra 180 snaps. Wear down.
