When I last looked, Nebraska was leading 33-0 in the Third Quarter. I think Bo has done a great job with Nebraska, and really put them back on track. It's safe to say that, given the results of their past two seasons and if their coaching staff remains more or less intact, they will be serious contenders for :crystal:. Good job, huskers and the best of luck, unless ya'll play us of course:grin:
Style wise makes me think of Danny Ford of Clemson fame. Got that laid back I just came out of the woods look. Devaney and Osborne did get great players to Lincoln, Bo better know recruiting.
no playmakers on that team. til then hes got his work cut out for him. beating an uninterested pac10 team will overrate him going into next year. more pressure yet undeserved.
Win your bowl game impressively, garner some hype, and get your top ten ranking in next years preseason polls. See Ole Miss last year for more details.
Pellini has a lot of work cut out for him. Let's see how effective his defense is next year without Suh. Nebraska is predominantly a collection of small farming towns with high schools that have trouble fielding entire teams (my wife and my brother-in-laws are from one of those towns). The level of in-state talent in Nebraska requires Pellini to spend much more time covering recruiting ground in neighboring states, while at the same time needing to spend a lot of time establishing relationships with a ton of small high schools inside of Nebraska. Luckily, he can leverage the relationships that Tom Osbourne (now Nebraska's AD) forged in all of these communities. Pellini is also smart enough to abandon Callahan's futile attempt to establish a vertical passing offense in a Great Plains state ("where the wind comes whipping down the plains").
