Bill Clinton signed the repeal of Glass-Steagall so by no means are the democrats hands clean when it comes to the economic meltdown. In fact I'm of the belief that Clinton got lucky with the technology and Internet boom. I think Reagan started us on a path to destruction and every President since has had a share in it.

I thought you were excited to leave Alexandria and even more excited to get back to DFW?

You are aware that Bush didn't drag America in to Iraq on his own right. Half the free world supported the invasion, as well as many top House and Senate Dems...

yes on his administrations intelligence assessment which was dead wrong. Please stop with the misleading nonsense, like folks woke up and say lets go to war with Iraq for fucksake.

No it was universal intelligence buddy. Even the Russians were sure he had WMDs. Hell even his generals thought he had them when the war began. Now there is no doubt Bush beat the war drums but to say all the rest were blindly lead is BS. It is equally misleading to say it was all on W. There was considerable support based on the Clinton administration's intelligence. W didn't write a book of fiction beginning in 2001...he built on already developed data that show Saddam was dangerous.
I would also say it can be claimed that the Arab spring is a direct result of the Iraq invasion. Bush was much more insistant on bringing democracy to the ME than BHO even warning the Saudis that they needed to loosen the reins. For better or worse Bush and the neo cons believed that democracy and open societies were vitall to a better world order. They put their money on that bet in Iraq.

what universal intelligence, man please. Of course he was dangerous, but he did not have weapons of mass destruction, neither had anything to do with 9/11. you are reaching and making excuses, it was a blunder, we should have never been there and we should not be building nations, who it shows does not want democracy. Islam is theocracy based religion build on laws of 1 ruler, not the voice of the people.

It is called the Law of Unintended Consequences. The dolts in Washington, focused only on themselves and getting re-elected, have become experts at this.
