    Where I live, all anyone every does is bitch about people on welfare. I mean that's ALL THE FUCK THEY EVER FUCKING DO is bitch about people on welfare. I wonder how much we spend in food stamps on our citizens annually. Now how many trillions did we spend on the Iraq war? Why don't people around here bitch about the cost of the war in Iraq?

    We are America. Our citizens, by in large, do not starve. It is one of the great things about our Country. If you live here, you will not starve. Our children will not starve. It's what separates us from most other countries.

    Now, end welfare as we know it and let kids starve. Now the same MF'ers that bitch will say that children are starving in this country and this is an outrage.

    Shut the fuck up about welfare and focus on the real problem(s) in this country.

    Another thing, when I tell people about my childhood and that I was on welfare, they change their tune and say that that's ok. Then the more they talk, the more you realize that they are bitching about black people on welfare.....not white people like me.

    That's the thing CS, most of everyone on the right wants to bitch about freeloaders, welfare, food stamps etc, when all those dollars combined pale in comparison to corporate welfare, insane defense spending, a stupid drug war, and those 2 ridiculous wars we just got out of. But those damn freeloaders, how dare they want to eat and get medical attention.

    The people I talk to don't mind giving someone a hand up, it's the people that stay on assistance for generations that they are frustrated with. There needs to be a path to self sufficiency for them.

    Well, their are legitimate arguments about welfare that are valid. It is a real problem, just not a problem you acknowledge.


    People bitching is just that, bitching. Most all bitching is exaggerated venting. The same thing you are doing now.

    Welfare isn't a bad thing. The thing I dislike is that it has become a political chess piece.

    Welfare should be used as a means to get by when your down instead too many people see welfare as a way of life. The people that actually need the system is one thing. Those that have figured out a way to beat and abuse the system is another. The 1.4 billon we just gave the Egyptians would buy a lot of food at soup kitchens.

    People that bitch about welfare are hypocrites if they don't bitch about corporate welfare, billionaire tax havens, meaningless wars, etc.

    I'm not bitching, I'm pointing out the hypocrisy of those that bitch. Also, pointing out that when I dig deeper, I find that most are racists.

    Also, these fucking puppets that bitch about a family being on welfare are doing exactly what the billionaire's receiving corporate welfare want them to do. It's a distraction from the real problems that cost us real money.

    These big banks will take government bailouts and let the US invest in them when shit gets bad, but when they are recording record profits, they are dodging paying their share of taxes and not investing in the US like the US invested in them. It's fucking bullshit.

    Not that I disagree with your overall meaning, a family on welfare is not the same as tax cuts for billionaire's.

    Again, I am not saying it is right, but its different.

    And yes, they provide global jobs. I am not sure what is wrong with that as we are in a global market.

    Big difference between a company that pays billions in taxes getting a tax break as opposed to people that may have 2000$ taken out of pay over a year then receiving a refund of $4000+. Plus subsidized housing, food stamps and free medical. Which some have shown amounts to 30,000 plus in benefits
