Offensive tackle Chris Davenport has left the team to transfer to Tulane where he will enter graduate school and play his senior season. he had been Chris Faulk's backup at left tackle, but when Faulk went down, he was not elevated to a starter, but instead guard Dworaczyk moved out to tackle. He only played 13 downs this season and Faulk returns in 2013. This guy was highly recruited but couldn't break into the rotation on the defensive line where he played for two years or on the offensive line. At least he earned his degree, so he ain't no dummy. Probably a smart transfer for him to enjoy some PT his senior year.
He should have a fairly decent season next year at TooLame since the competition isn't as cut throat as it is at LSU. Wished he had panned out better.
Best of luck to Chris. Maybe Scott Rab can do another 5* write-up on him? All the best to Chris, he will do well whatever he does in life.
And the rats continue to jump ship......does that mean that the LSU Ship is sinking......what's going on behind closed doors??
