Why is there no talk about him taking over the head coaching position, and hiring an offensive coordinator? Most likely he may have been lured to LSU with this carrot dangled in his face. If we do not get the kind of coach we want, Coach O does not have a good year, we could not afford to lose him.

I did not mean that would be my first choice--- Nothing wrong with having a defensive mind at head coach, was more my point. Saban is no offensive genius. I think we are putting so much stock into having an offensive head coach, when all we really need is a coach that hires great coordinators, recruits well and is good with the public. That is my first choice as well. I pray that Aleva has a deal under the table, and that is why they pulled the trigger so quickly.
