    Whoa, whoa, whoa.

    Hold your horses there chief.

    The Saints and Sharper have until midnight of March 4th to come to an agreement.

    I suspect Sharper's agent and Lommis are working hard on an agreement to keep Sharper in New Orleans for much lees than the franchise tag would have cost us (6.8 million).

    I expect we'll see a 2 year deal worth approximately 9 million in the coming days.

    He was never going to get the Franchise Tag that was their stupid as@ saying that now they are trying to cover their as@.

    I think it was a show of respect from the Saints to Sharper. Players hate the franchise tag.

    Your thread title is completely FALSE.

    Darren Sharper is NOT a free agent.
