Re: Darren Sharper poised to be a Saint?

I now have the Saints as the odds-on favorite to make it to the Super Bowl from the NFC.

    Uh, yes.

One last piece is the pound it up the middle RB. We gotta get that figured out.

I think we are trading down and picking up a 2nd and will select Beanie Wells.

I would have no issue with that.

Now with the defense cooperating in helping the Saints win games, the offense conceivably could go from averaging 28/29 ppg to 33-35 ppg. Short fields due to turnovers, something we haven't seen in the 3 year stint of Mr. Gibbs, is going to be much more commonplace.

Enjoy the season. It will be fun and one to remember.

So you are saying they will select Beanie in the late first found pick they will get in the pick from the trade...so you think they will get a late first round and 2nd round for the 14th pick? Trading down sounds good and easy but dont really see any teams wanting to trade up and eventhough on Draft day anything can happen. Problem with trying to take Beanie in the late first round many mock drafts have him going to the Texans with the 15th pick. That's why Rashad J from Liberty who some say is just as good and even better than Beanie without the durability questions oh and cheaper as well would be a better pick by the Saints if they could trade down.

I have absolutely no problems with Rashad. Where does he project?

Still hoping for this but dont think it will happen plus titans signed a KR/WR yesterday. Especially would love for the Saints to get Sean Smith been hoping since I saw him play against Colorado St in the Bowl game.

Here's one of his best plays
