Appears we will find out in the next 24 hours. Bears are out of the running (their decision), leaving the Saints as the favorite with Atlanta in the mix as well. We shall see. Hopefully we land him.

I think Sharper is probably going to be a Saint just wanted more money than we probably offered aand is trying to find someone else to help increase his offer from the Saints but in the end it doesnt seem like the Falcons are that interested in him plus out of the two Saints as a whole have the most potential. Even if we sign him I still wish we could draft a Darius Butler or one of my sleepers from the NFL Draft thread CB Sean Smith from Utah who is 6'3 that has great ball skills and size plus the potential to become the Saints Next Free Safety. Re: Darren Sharper poised to be a Saint? Would be great news if we could sign him. Certainly not a long term solution, but would be a great mentor for a young FS that we might draft, or someone moved from CB. Would also allow us to go completely BPA in the draft.

Re: Darren Sharper poised to be a Saint? Great signing. Plugs the last big hole we have on the team. This has been a rock solid offseason for the front office so far, and we haven't even hit the draft. Now all we want is depth. What a great problem to have.
