I have to wonder after julio, ingram, harris took fishing trips and laptops last year, while others were involved in books for the masses, why the NCAA would not have reason to expect that bama players should be well versed on the rules. Some records, like Joltin Joe's hit streak and bama's unrelenting noncompliance will never be equaled. I will never put much stock into the probations that AU got while Bear was roaming around. He became better insulated after his Kentucky and TAMU jobs and bama was pretty much untouchable until he passed. Of course his main adversaries seemed to suffer a different fate, go figure.....
