Here we go with "intentions" again. Musoli did not "break any rules." But we all know what his probable "intentions" were. Now the NCAA continues to make their rules as they go.....

OUT OF BOUNDS.............STILL BAMA BALL !!!!!!!!

Well If I am getting this straight, he is not being hammered because once it came to light, he did not lie about it happening. For example, Dez Bryant did lie about it.

Now whether he is telling the truth about " not knowing" that it was improper is open to speculation, and most people are not going to buy that. But if bama wants to contend that their players are not that bright, well...

Dez Bryant didn't accept any money though. He just talked to Deon Sanders. This dude Dareus accepted something like 1700 bucks. How you can get busted accepting cash, and only get suspended for the UAB and Georgia Southern game are beyond me.

see i think Saban, that's how, Bama has been given some harsh penalties in the past by the NCAA, now if the SEC stepped in and tried to dish out a penalty i would be absolutely shocked.

apparently, it is a bigger sin to lie to the ncaa than accept gifts from agents. go figure.

and dude, the whole "he didnt know" (twice) from gumpland.... well, i had the same thought. i guess that just means their players are incredibly stupid.

He didn't just "talk" to Sanders. He worked out at his house, talked to Sanders agent, and then lied about it. He knew it was an agent and did it anyway.

The bama player is claiming he did not know this was agent driven and while it is probably bs, his story is covered. And he didn't try to lie about it like Bryant did. I am not defending the bama player because I don't think anyone honestly believes he is that stupid, but the two situations were handled differently.

he didn't know he wasn't supposed to accept cash? all that makes me believe is cash is being used as a recruiting tool at alabama. if you get paid right from the get, maybe he didn't think accepting cash was an ncaa sin.
