Danny Sheridan : "I found Bigfoot"

I have no clue what Sheridan knows or doesn't know but I will say this. Sheridan "claims" that an "inside source within the NCAA" is where he's getting his information. Not the NCAA itself. So in other words the NCAA potentially (depending on if Sheridian is ultimately telling the truth or not) has a "leak" within their group. It happens all the time. Reporters talk to players on an individual level, or someone within the organization and gets information on an "off the record" basis. Which then the reporter gets on ESPN or who ever they work for and says "An inside source has tole me XYZ...." But the organization itself never told the reporter that.

If at the end of all this there is a "bagman" or whatever then it goes to confirm what Sheridan is currently saying was true. He did have an inside source. If at the end of it the NCAA doesn't have this "bagman" then it proves Sheridan was full of it.

 

If he has an inside source at the NCAA then this implies that the NCAA knows who the "bagman" was and that a major infraction took place. Are you suggesting, that will come out at a later time or that there is some sort of cover up?

 

Oh I'm not "suggesting" anything other than the NCAA probably hasn't told Danny S. anything. But that doesn't mean someone that is employed with the NCAA hasn't leaked information on the case to Danny. It is a very common thing for people not to be able to keep their mouth shut. Just look at Danny for that proof. The NCAA as standard practice doesn't discuss an investigation in the public with regard to information. So this disclaimer the NCAA has issued really doesn't confirm or deny what Danny is saying anyway.


But time will be the ultimate truth teller. This investigation at some point has to end and at that point we'll all see if Danny was telling the truth or lying.

Danny S might be lying. I don't know nor do I really care. It doesn't impact my team one bit. He looks like a slimeball for sure. But from the little I've followed this recent thing I've never heard Danny say the NCAA has told him anything. Which makes perfect sense as to why the NCAA has said the same. But that doesn't mean someone within hasn't leaked information. Do you know for sure he doesn't have a source within? Or are you just assuming?

BTW, everytime I read the title of this thread I laugh. Good one. :rofl:

 

As Don Meridith used to say "if if's and buts were candy and nuts, what a Merry Christmas it would be." The NCAA has exposed Sheridan for the publicity prostitue he is.

 

A cousin of mine in the UAT Athletic Dept. says Saban is having an affair with a cheerleader. Can you say for sure it isn't true?

 

Time will ultimately tell whether ole Danny boy was lying or telling the truth. But he's sure made an idiot of himself up to this point.

And no, I cannot be sure if Nicky is laying the pipe to a cheerleader or not. Just like you're not sure whether Danny Boy is lying or not. You're just hoping to god he is lying. But ultimately you have no clue either. Yet you act like it's been factually proven that he is.

That statement the NCAA issued is nothing more than window dressing and saving face. Like I've said. Danny never did say the NCAA told him anything. He basically said he has an inside source within the NCAA that has told him this information. So IF Danny is telling the truth it came via a mole within the NCAA that the NCAA knows nothing about. If at the end of this, when the NCAA issues their report and nothing comes up about any bagman then we'll know Danny lied. But at this stage of the game no one really knows.

So why you're getting so defensive with me is beyond me.

 

I'm going to enjoy it when the hammer is laid down on Auburn and Cammy gets a suspension from Goodell.
