I listened to the entire broadcast and I hate both of these d-bags. They pulled for OM the entire game and were having fun with the upset until it did not happen. We can look forward to more of the same next week against ARK. I truly hope we beat Ark. soundly from the beginning so these 2 morons have nothing to talk about from minute one. These CBS announcers BLOW,period!!!!!!!
Man I was thinking the same thing. He harped on that 'lucky break' the whole first half. It is not a lucky break when you drive the ball 98 yards on the opposing team. Give me a break, I wanted to throw something at the TV after about the reference to that lucky break. I couldn't believe that they actually showed a replay of that illegal procedure play about six plays later with LSU in Ole Miss territory.
That is amazing that they keep getting names wrong. I could have sworn he called Bo Pelini "Bo Rein", and then Verne had to allude to the former LSU coach who died in a plane crash before he coached a single game to cover it up. Not sure, maybe someone else can expound on it.
I don't see that at all. There are times when he is just salivating over LSU. He has single-handedly got Dorsey's name in the Heisman watch. I am sure rival fans are sick of him tooting Dorsey's horn. And on offense, he kept saying how many weapons we have on offense and that we can't be stopped at times. He gives us ample props.
He corrected himself and admitted the mistake. Then said who Bo Rein was afterwards. Still funny as hell.
Every good play he was trying to find a foul that LSU got away with. The Trindon run back, there was absolutely no hold anywhere. THe negativity was obvious. He went back to LSU's opening or 2nd drive in the 1st qtr on their own goal line, when guard flinched. He said that would've force LSU to punt, well the idiot didn't realize that it would've been 3rd down. He went back to that play 5 times like it was some sort of game changing play. I was really disgusted. Also, when he said that Jackson should've been flagged for PI on the long ball because he grabbed his jersey. He tugged it a tad at the very start of the lay out but he didn't pull the jersey hard till he was laid out and the ball was on it's way out. He was just trying to find anything to call a foul on LSU.
I heard on the pre-game show that CLM had a sit down with him about his comment's in the Auburn game on how Dorsey shouldn't play another snap for LSU to prevent further injury. Wonder why he was pumping Dorsey this afternoon?
