If QB improves next year, none of this Crowton talk will return. QB is - hands down - the reason LSU struggled on offense this year.

No. That's what works best inthe absence of a vertical passing threat.

Well I think it is more the O-line actually. But both have severely underachieved.

Wow I consider myself one the optimists on this board (when I post )
Seriously, how can anyone not see our gameplan does not work. Even if its the OL or whatever, no adjustments were made. We never used TH effectively, we never let RS throw, we never even used RS as a decoy inside the 10. We only used certain players in the same situations..no originality....109th is inexcusable...the guy is THE reason for the Ole Miss debacle...he doesn't he even deserve his bowl bonus, but I am glad Miles has the class to let him collect that (hopefully it will be his last check from LSU)

Regardless of what happens the best thing about next year is that it is next year.
Maybe we will have better line play on both sides of the ball?
That is what I'm hoping for!

    We had 3 WR's

    6 -3
    6 -4
    6 -5

Your telling me we could not get the ball in the air 20 yards down the field???

Our lack of down field passing allowed D's to play more of a red zone D all year.

JJ does not have a long ball

He can throw it 60 yards but has no control

Looking forward to the spring game.

In the running game, I agree. But JJ had a surprising amount of protection to throw this season. I'd estimate half his pressure/sacks came from holding onto the ball way too long. I've never played QB (was a center), but to me he uses athleticism and competitiveness/hard work to make up for a lack of intuitive QB play.
