MSU just agreed to let a Meyer puppet run their team?

    I fail to believe that.

Mullen ran that offense. By that line of reasoning, then Muschamp was a puppet under Saban here.

Who said anything about calling plays?

I believe it. Meyer is the one who developed that offense. Mullen was with him so he has good knowledge but that offense is Meyers. Mullen was calling Meyers plays in Meyers sets.

Mullen ran Meyers offense, not his own. Muschamp ran Sabans defense, you believe different? Of course Mullen can take some of it with him to MooU but Mullen wasnt the innovator, Meyer was.

It's not like Meyer invented his offense in a bubble. He had influences that he pulled from to come up with his version of the spread. Mullan will take the best principles from Meyers offense and incorporate them into his own scheme. Same with Saban and Muschamp. It's how any coordinator learns. And the cycle continues.

I agree that coordinators learn from their mentors and move on. The point is Florida runs Meyers offense, not Mullens offense. How many times did you hear Mullens offense wont work in the SEC when Meyer was hired?

Mullen leaving Florida wont alter their offense at all or effect their recruiting much. Losing Tebow would be 100 times worse for Floridas offense.
