who knew. LSU/UT sec trny on SECN. we are 4 seed tenn is 12. dont mean nothing. this ones gonna be close methinks. this could end badly if we show little 2nd half effort again. Blakeney may have to carry us if simmons doesnt.
Didn't get to watch; could only peek in occasionally. Wasn't surprised to see we had blown a lead with about 5 minutes left, but it was good to see us make a run and win by a comfortable margin. Question now becomes, would a win over #1 seed TAMU tomorrow be enough to get us in the tournament? It would also be our 20th win.
Joe Lunardi does not even have LSU in the 2nd set of 4 teams that are out, meaning LSU is not in his top 8 teams that are on the bubble but currently out of his tourney bracket That has to mean we have to win the tourney.
Did Alabama UK play yet. We can't beat UK again. We need Bama to pull the upset if we hope to win 3 gsmes . I missed the 2h today what happened.
Joe Lunardi is not on the selection committee. They may have a want to boost ratings with Gentle Ben.
After the win over Tennessee, Lundardi moved LSU into the "Next 4 out" category along with Alabama. If Alabama loses (likely), LSU would be 7th consideration to get in. Still not good. What this could mean is what mctiger alluded to, a win over A&M possibly gets us in, even with a loss in the final. It would be too close to call. My guess is still no. Michigan winning today was bad news for LSU as they are in the first 4 out. http://espn.go.com/mens-college-bas...u-need-win-sec-tournament-get-ncaa-tournament Andy Katz thinks if we beat A&M and then lose to Kentucky (must be KY and probably has to be pretty competitive), then we're right there on the bubble of all bubbles.
TAMU has a better chance at beating UK than we do. This is why it's important to kick the fucking shit out of UK in football...
