Just like a West Coast Team to Snatch Defeat from the Jaws of Victory!

At least the Saints have plenty of cold/wet weather to practice in this week!

That's ok, Crip. If Seattle can roll up 24 on "Da Bears", I'm confident our offense can do the same.

And just like I predicted Garcia's magical run to end, I'm going to say Grossman's showing today will be short-lived and end next week.

As long as we don't let Berrian get behind our secondary, we should be ok. Thomas Jones and Cedric Benson aren't Brian Westbrook, IMO.

Grossman's most success was when Seattle blitzed, leaving single coverage, but couldn't get to Grossman in time. I don't think our secondary is as athletic as Seattle's, so I hope we don't blitz as much.

Grossman seems to have the most trouble when he has to make his progressions in reading the defense.

Grossman has been pretty much 1 good game, 1 horribe game for the entire 2nd half of the season.

Yeah I am not really worried, all this cold ass weather is gonna help the team get ready for the outdoors. I just really would have liked to have seen back to back home playoff games. Might be a long time before we ever get the chance again. (tongue in cheek of course)

I was really dissappointed at first in Seattle blowing it. I was hung up on the home field advantage thing. But has home field really been of benefit to us this season? Not really. And Philly came mighty close to beating us. For whatever reason the Saints D can't feed off the crowd like we would expect.

I would say the Saints are the best road team in the NFL this season. Nothing seems to face them. Their only losses were to Carolina 21-18 and Pittsburgh 38-31 (we all know we gave that one away).

I think Seattle would have given us mismatch problems with their offense. All their receivers were back in the lineup and Branch was starting to make plays (clutch postseason receiver). We all know how good Alexander can be.

I would rather play a team where our defense matches up better. Games that were shootouts didn't pan out for us this season (see Pittsburgh and Cincy games).

Aside from Home field, I thought that the Seahawks Secondary would have been exploited to the fullest with our passing game. I mean Hell Sexy Rexy was able to find open recievers, I think Brees would have killed em.

But our defense will have an easier time with Da Bears Spotty Offense.

Seattle screwed me on my Parlay with them and the Patriots winning. The bums cost me my $100 winnings, oh well at least I hit on my Colts/Patriots parlay and won $150 so it wasn't that bad.

I just hope that a warm front moves through Chicago by next sunday so we won't have to play in freezing temps.
