Seems like with John Williams and Phelon Jones on board at CB, and Ron Brooks being a guy who might convert to CB, Berry would only be a backup plan in case something happens. For example Jones is being courted hard by Saban, although he's given no cause for LSU to worry and seems solidly committed to LSU.
Berry is a safety. LSU will be needing safeties, with Steltz graduating after next year. LSU will then have just McCrae, Taylor, and hopefully Jones as well as Francois. So having Berry could be a big plus since Jones may leave early for baseball. With the limited sholarships left, we may have to pass on him. With McKnight, Jones, Toliver, and Francois left out there we probably wont offer him. Eventhough he is high on LSU and has a soft commitment to Miami.
