49-5 since starting the season 0-4. It's too damn bad they had that rough start, we could be talking about the greatest NBA season ever. They still have a legit shot at 70 wins, which would put them in elite company (like the 96 and 97 Bulls teams).
Dallas has been a legit contender for the champoinship ever since Cuban bought the team. Shows you what having one the best owners in professional sports can do for an organization.
they've also had the best team 3-4 years... that shows you what having a choke artist as a PF can do to a team's chances... specifically when up 2-0 in the finals. :shock:
3 titles > 0 titles... I KNOW full and well T-Mac is a loser... That is part of why I like him so much. Loveable loser... It's the same reason you all like the Saints so much.
you obviously did not watch the finals last year if you think Dirk is the sole reason this team lost after going up 2-0. Terry played bad, Howard played bad, and Sissy Wade got every non foul called his way. Basketball is a game of swings, and the Heat had the big swing when it counted last year......add to that the Mavs had to go seven games against the Spurs and 6 against the Suns.......who did the Heat play out of the East last year? it's called 'driving to the basket' who's the sissy, wade for ramming the ball down your team's throat or dirk for thinking the 3pt-point line was the berlin wall come the 4th qtr?
a lot of the calls Wade got were not driving to the basket, but on jump shots well outside of the paint - rewatch the finals. Here are some stats to give you an idea.....keep in mind only one of Miami's wins wre by more then 3 points (Game 4). The disparity in fouls and foul shots are obvious - and that is not just a coincidence from D Wade "driving" to the basket - again, he got a lot of calls while shooting jump shoots as well. Call the finals what you want - many in Dallas agree it was a choke by the Mavs collectively, not Dirk - but there should never be that large of a discrepancy in fouls/game.
