Most people praise Miles when he does well and criticize him when he fails. It's pretty much been a love fest all season and rightly so. After that pathetic performance on Jan 9 he is taking a lot of heat. Also rightly so. Problem is he doesn't have a chance to redeem himself until next season so that game is going to stick with us until then.

When you're high you're high and when you're low you're low. In addition, the more successful he is, the more that will be expected of him. As well as the more he will be paid and when you're getting 4+ million a year there isn't much tolerance for failure. It's the name of the game at the top in any field.

Imagine that. Sounds like every person that ever held any job I have ever known.

This is especially true with LSU fans. We love hard, but we hate just as hard. We only shift between those two extremes, for better or worse.

Oh well, here's to being spoiled with 10 win seasons. Sure as hell beats the Hallman/DiNardo era.

If you love Saban so much, please come out of the closet and go to Tidefans.com. This is an LSU fan site...you know, that school that Saban lied to by saying he was not leaving, let freaking Iowa manhandle LSU exactly the same way Alabama handled LSU in the last game, then left us like cheap date.

You should really keep up. I hate Saban as much as I hate JJ. I was making a point that Saban would not have recruited JJ which he did not.

Good to know that you know about cheap dates and people leaving you in that situation.

Nevermind, I see you are a JJ fan and can't come to grips with the fact that he sucks. You should go to the All-Star Classic thread and defend him there. You won't because you won't take on the boys. It is all good. Just like Rachel.

No, I am not a JJ fan, actually. Never have been to be honest. That is a point you can go look up in many posts when JJ first started seeing meaningful playing time and I pointedly stated that JJ does not have "it", those intangible elements that seperate good QBs from average.

I also was one of the few voices defending JL when he was throwing his pick sixes because I thought he had a good upside and would develop into a better QB with time and coaching (partially because JL was the son of a coach and had some football DNA).

Additionally, if you did your homework, you'd see that I was labeled crazy by some around here for suggesting that Miles should rotate Mettenberger into the BCS game as it would not only elevate the QB play but have the Alabama coaches scrambling because they had no real game film on him to prep with.

What I am is an LSU fan. Nothing more, nothing less. As a fan, I support my team, its players, and its coaches through thick and thin.

You lack of maturity is overwhelming, frankly. If anyone dares to disagree with your all-knowing awareness you are compelled to attack that person's character instead of the message.

Your 10 or so posts extolling the superiority of Saban to Miles prompted my reply. Sorry that you can't handle the fact that reasonable people would conclude that you have a woodie for the guy.

    Have a nice day.
