If you're not holding a trophy at the end it is pretty meaningless isn't it? Just ask the Pats a few years ago or the Packers this year.

Haha. Right. They said this after the Tennessee game in 05 too. Oh and the Ole Miss game in 09. Oh and even the Tennessee game last season.

How many times can you guys pronounce Miles' career dead? Take the good with the bad. Every coach wins and every coach loses. Miles does the former way more than the latter, and does so at a rate superior to 99% of his colleagues.

You should really read the entire thread before you make comments that make you look stupid. No coach that wins 10+ games a season will have a dead career.

You say I should read the entire thread ... maybe you should read the entire forum. It's a common refrain.

People discredit Miles, he proves them wrong, they shut up and wait for the next opportunity to discredit him. He produced more 10 win seasons than any other coach in school history and 75% of this board wanted him fired midway through last season.

I am very interested in knowing whether Miles can learn from mistakes, adjust and make smarter decisions.

    Well said.

Doesnt help that Bama and Saban are the last team most of us would ever want LSU to turn in their best Night of the Living Dead performance against.

We didn't lose to HOuston. Faulk had a career rushing game and we won late.

What are you going to do? Go take that SEC trophy, show it to Bama and say "nya nya nya, we won the SEC?"

Let me know how that works out.

The Ole Miss game was before my time, but the Bama loss was the worst of my decades watching LSU. I have NEVER been so disappointed in a LSU effort.

And I'm not calling for Les's head either.
