D. Peterson confirms what has frustrated LSU fans for years.

What's NOT coaching is a bunch of people whining on an internet message board after a 13-0 season. The man ain't perfect, nobody here could've done a better job than him. For phucksake people it's over. Time to move on.

I don't think many of you understand what I'm saying. I'm not a sky is falling person either. Nor am I calling for Miles head or anything of the sort. But that doesn't change the fact that the NC game was the worst LSU game under Miles and the worst game in the last 25 years. Period. Not SEASON. Everyone is wrapped up in equating the season with the game. That's not what I'm saying. Just like undefeated "in the regular season" doesn't mean crap. As anyone and they'd rather be holding a crystal ball than a sheet of paper printed out on the office computer that's "undefeated in the regular season."

A 3 - 8 team has no expectations. Same as the '08 team. We knew we were in for a rough ride when RP got kicked off. What was not expected was the goose egg laid by LSU at the beginning of the month. If you want undefeated seasons and meaningless wins be a fan of Boise St. I and most fans want crystal balls.

 

If you think that was the worst game in 25 years, I can name quite a few others, including 2 in 2002 where a highly ranked (Saban Coached) LSU team got the crap beat out of them at Auburn 31 -7, and in Tiger Stadium by Bama 31-0.
And if you want to talk about expectations... Talk to the 1998, 2002 LSU teams or 2000 Bama team about underachieving in full seasons and games you can point to the 2005 SEC championship game where Georgia wiped the floor with us. It's one game, and it hurts a lot, mainly because it was Bama, but I would prefer this season 1000 times over to the early or late 90's. At least there is something good to look forward to in the fall.

 

Please all of you that dislike Miles so much name someone you think should replace him. Urban, Stoops, Brown, C Kelly. Who maybe Jimbo Fisher or the ass from ND. I guess you want Tulane's ex Bob Toledo.

Criticize with meaningful content don't spew venom and accuse defenders of "unnatural love" of Miles. Be helpful and give an alternative.

 

I'm confused. How do you get me not liking Miles when I specifically say I'm not calling for his head or anything of the sort. As long as Miles keeps 10+ wins he's not going anywhere. Nor should he. The expectations that are on the team are due to Miles success. It was the worst game under Miles. GAME. Singular. No one is calling for his head.

But at the same time no one should be defending that POS travisity that happened earlier this month. Noes the time to re-evaluate everything, EVERYTHING. And make sure that doesn't happen again.
