$600 isn't enough to make any difference in the lives of those who need it most. That won't even cover half of a months rent or mortgage payment for most people. $600 will buy a nice tent if you have to go live in the woods after you are evicted

This is the same thing that happens with so called "education vouchers. Poor and most normal people, even with the voucher, cannot afford the private school tuition. Meanwhile rich folks just add the voucher money into their accounts.

He is the President of the United States until January 20th. It's his fucking job to respond. Not doing so appears weak and feckless, but then again he's always cow-towed to Vladimir Putin so I don't know why we should expect him to do any different now.
