LSU enters the 2015 College World Series as the No. 2 national seed, but the Tigers are not favored to win it all according to Bovada.com. No. 4 seed Florida comes in at 5/2 odds with LSU next at 11/4. After the Tigers, Vanderbilt is at 4/1 followed by Miami at 9/2, TCU at 9/1, Arkansas at 10/1, and Cal State Fullerton and Virginia both at 14/1. LSU and Florida met once this season with the Gators knocking the Tigers out of the SEC Tournament in a 2-1 decision. The two teams met four times in the 2014 campaign with Florida taking three of the four games. LSU is set to meet TCU on Sunday at 2 p.m. CT.
Seems like I remember Manieri starting Renaudo in the first game of the '09 CWS. That worked out pretty well. I would guess that he would throw his ace in the first game again this year.
the team that won the UCLA super takes their spot and any other team that got knocked out the same. then they seed 1458 2367 i think so we are 2, cal st beat 3 louisville so they are in our bracket. vandi beat 6 seed illinois so we get them on our side along with 7 tcu.
We don't have a third starter. Games will have to be cobbled together with a series of relievers. Maineri will pitch Lange and Poche and try like hell to stay in the winners bracket.
