Selection show will be Monday, 05/30 at 11:30 AM on ESPN The NCAA just announced who will be hosting the 16 regional sites: 2011 regional hosts announced - NCAA.com
UALR beats FIU. FIU very likely to get an at large bid, so that's one less available. Aggies did their best to give away a bid to Missouri, but they finally won in spite of themselves. Things went very well for LSU over the last 2 days as far as at large bids staying available. We won't know for sure until Monday, but I don't see how get left out.
It would be okay if the Tigers were sent to the Tallahassee regional (note my location). Wouldn't hurt my feelings a bit. :tigbas:
One of those things is not like the other. One of those teams just don't belong. AKA why is there one team with a 33-21 record and everyone else has 38+ wins.
a 33-21 record, and an rpi of 33. they must have made one helluva propo$al to the ncaa. either that, or the reason is that they won the pac-whatever. but still.... :rolleye33:
Aaron Fitt has the Tigers in as a 2-seed... BaseballAmerica.com: College: On Campus: Final 2011 Projected Field Of 64
didn't check the link, but no way do we deserve a #2 seed. doesn't matter what seed you are, you still got to beat #1 to get there. bring it on!
Sure we do. Break the season into 3 parts: Won 15 out of the 1st 16 and 13 of the last 16. Take away the hitting slump during the middle 3rd of the season and we're in the national seed discussion.
