Well, I was being superstitious and wasn't going to do this until the inning was over, but what you said...me too, brother, me too. And to think you posted that when the score was 8-0. :hihi: Thanks for the PbP, guys...those of us without tv/radio appreciate it! Edited to add, and it seems like I posted by the time the inning ended anyway! Cheers, and thanks again guys.
I think everyone in the Arkansas dugout realizes they are done. Sure they'll scrap as much as they can but stick a fork in them. They are done.
I like to believe that the never-say-die spirit is still alive in human beings, including those on the Arkansas bench.
Can somebody take over PBP or post the entire inning? I have to catch the rest on the radio while driving. Thanks! BTW...1 out K
The Tigers are the most confident looking team I have seen in a long, long time. Not cocky, just a team that KNOWS what they are going to go out there and do.:LSU231:
Ross in for LSU. I wonder if the pitching rotation for the championship will be Coleman-Ross-Ranaudo. EDIT: Ross just gave up a two-run homer. Arkansas finally on the board. 11-2 LSU
Arkansas starts putting runs on the board.. 11-2 Tigers!!! Announcers talking about all the come-back wins Arkansas has had this year, how they "don't fold."
Bottom of the 7th: 1st batter - Strikeout. 2nd - Hit 3rd - HR (LSU up 11-2) 4th - Strikeout 5th - Walk (looked like he swung but appeal denied) LSU pitcher warming up (Bird?) 6th - Single. Runners on 1st and 3rd 7th - Ground out to first. 3 outs After 7 innings: LSU 11, Arkansas 2
