The caller and radio host from some Lousiana radio station are currently both agreeing live that we have demoralized Texas (see my posts above about all the Texas fans crying on live TV). Of course, the flip side is that the Texas players and coaches are good enough to go home and just get furious about this whole thing and come out looking for death tomorrow night.

This is the seventh year the CWS has had a Championship Round as opposed to a single game. Here's how the winner of game one fared in the previous six years.

    3-won game two
1-lost game two then won game three
    2-lost games two & three

This is probably the best matchup the CWS has seen in the last five years. (since Texas & Cal State Fullerton)

Huge clutch play tonight from DJ, Mahtook and Jones. Nice to see that coming from someone other than the usual suspects.

Has CPM said who gets the ball tomorrow night; Ross or Ranaudo? I would think with the one-game cushion now, he'd go with Ross and give Ranaudo one more days rest if we need him.

Side note: watched some of the game with my dad tonight, and he told me he played high school FB (in Algiers, Holy Name of Mary HS) with Albert Ott, Matty's grandpa. Also said Albert's Uncle Mel stopped by for an occasional pep talk to the team. I'm surprised we never hear about Matty's family connection to a Hall of Famer from the talking heads.

They're too busy talking about "small ball" every few seconds. Unfortunately for them and Texas, LSU plays with big balls.

Congrats to the players and all the fans! I have been watching baseball for almost 5 decades, and I have never been as nervous/anxious during a game than I was tonight!

We beat TX at their own game, the come from behind incredible victory game that is!

I think we win it all tomorrow nite!
