    And so we come to the end. No Cinderellas, just the 2 best teams in college baseball slugging it out for the title. We could not ask for a better way to finish the season.

    Both teams are coming in hot. Texas showing heart and determination to grab victory from the jaws of certain defeat. LSU using sheer brute force to roll through opponents like an oncoming train. Win or lose, this will surely be the best CWS we have seen for many years.

    Starters
    Chance Ruffin (10-2, 3.27 E.R.A.)
    Louis Coleman (14-2, 2.68 E.R.A.)

    It will be clear and very hot (heat index 100+ at night) for the duration of the series. Perfect Louisiana baseball weather:wave:.

    ESPN has the whole series, and Mr Hawthorne will be on your dial.

    Time to leave it all on the field.
