well, i'm officially a Tiger fan again...

that was about as painful as it gets. 1 out away, then 1 ball away, then 1 hit or sac fly away... or just one good baserunning decision away... but it never happened. i guess our youth finally showed up.

good news is, I still have a team to pull for on Friday. geaux tigers! AK is toast - LSU will romp.

I guess the umps didn't want another CWS game to end with a walk-off walk. That 3-0 pitch was ball 4.

Well, it isn't like that wasn't the last opportunity. That's baseball. Sorry for it to end like that.

arky didnt win this game ... UVA lost this ... they had what 4 chances with a baserunner in position and not score ... and to put all your hopes in a kid who hasnt been on base since April, I didnt see no wild tiger hovering over home he was just scared of home plate for some reason ... PINCH RUN

    complete bs

arkansas closer dallas keuchel went out and shut down UVA on multiple occasions.

while eibner tied it up off their closer with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th.

of course, UVA failed to execute many times though it takes nothing away from a great game and the fact the hogs made things happen and deserved this one.

doesnt matter if the guy hadnt been on base in 100 years. thats the worst example of hindsight ever. a little leaguer knows what to do in that situation.

the fact he choked twice is on him. no one else.

True. It was obvious to everyone but the ump. But the 2-0 pitch before that was a strike but called a ball...imo. So that's a wash.

That's sports period! Sometimes you have to overcome some bad calls to win a game no matter what the sport, every team has to do it. If you can't you pack your bags and go home. UVA lost both games because they didn't get the job done. Losers blame the refs, winners win in spite of the refs.

As much as I was supporting the Hoo's I would much rather face a Hog team we know how to smack around. Hope you guys had a great 1st experience in Omaha, you guys have a lot to be proud of.Now it's time for the Tigers to GEAUX and kick some piggie butt. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

My customer, who's somewhat of a Bama insider came in the cafe this morning for breakfast and asked me who I was rooting for in the game last night. I told him the Hoos and he said "Me too."

"How can anybody in their right mind root for a team that's wearin' those ugly softball uniforms." :hihi:.
