So now that the dust has settled and many thought the Broncos organization was terrible I'd like to point out that I like the way things turned out. Jay Cutler takes too many chances throwing the ball where he shouldn't. Jay Cutler's ego seems bigger and better than he plays right now including last year, int's. It will be interesting to see how long the honeymoon lasts in Chicago. Kyle Orton seems to have a good head on his shoulders and doesn't have an ego problem. It seems like both teams are headed in the opposite direction and also literally from where everyone thought they'd be! I think its a little bit :insane: myself, I don't think I've ever seen a team in any sport with this much turnover and a new system on top of things turn things around this quickly! Keep in mind that I'm not saying Cutler will never be good or better but he seems to have plenty of potential like JR. It's amazing to me how much money you can make from potential alone. I know its a long way to geaux but I like the way things have turned out for both the Broncos and the Bears. I'm loving rooting against Jay crybaby Cutler and the Bears! Btw , Today, Would you take Orton or Cutler?
I still think Cutler is the better QB and the Bears got over big time in the trade. The Broncos are winning despite Orton because they have other good players. The Bears are losing even with Cutler because they don't have enough good players.
Culter as in the kid from Vandy who cried during the LSU game, made his dad call the AD to get a better O-Line, and looks like his mom still cuts his hair in their kitchen? Yeah, I'm taking Orton.
I don't think i have ever been more wrong about anything in my life. I thought the Broncos were stupid for getting rid of Cutler, and i dogged the Broncos and McDaniels, and the organization, and i was completely wrong. The Broncos have to be the single biggest surprise this season. And Orton looks more polished, smarter, accurate, and more of a leader than Cutler. Cutler has a big arm, and can move around a little, but Kyle Orton is the better quarterback right now.
I think I do agree with this BUT right now he isn't. I think i disagree somewhat here. Cutler threw quite 18 picks last year with all the weapons he had here in Denver. If you turn the ball over on a regular basis you aren't going to win many ball games. Some of that was because he was forcing his throws like he is in Chicago though. Cutler had 18 picks last year and 14 the year before and 10 this year! http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/nfl/players/7760/
I'll say I was surprised by the outcome to date. Maybe that young head coach at Denver ain't so dumb afterall.
Cutler definitely has more upside. For me, I was always surprised at how conservative Orton plays. He went from being a gunslinger at Purdue to now just managing the offense. I thought he would be the more prolific passer than Cutler at first similar to Drew Brees but maybe it's just the system he's been playing in.
This made me laugh, I really dislike Cutler. I'd take Orten. Cutler may have more talent and eventually be a "better" QB, but Trent Dilfer won a super bowl so it's not always about talent. I just have a feeling Cutler will have another drama filled incident if things don't get better; his whining and finger pointing remind me of TO.
the bears might actually be worse with Cutler. They have gotten away from Matt Forte, and putting the game in Cutler's hands now, and Cutler just tries to make plays with his arm instead of making the smart play. At this point i am also taking Orton.
