I like this guy...he's got guts. I think it's OK for him to be a PAC 10 homer, after all we're SEC homers. We probably underestimate them like they underestimate us.

So in the interest of being realistic, does the SEC seem a little off this year? I'm beginning to think that even Florida is overrated somewhat despite their strong D.

Maybe a lot of conferences are a little off. It's gonna be a wild ride I think this year.

Re: Current College Football Harris, AP Poll and Coaches' Polls

I don't know about anyone else, but I have to question a 2 - 2 team (Oklahoma) being ranked above some undefeated teams. I understand strength of schedule, etc., but it just does not seem right.

Re: Current College Football Harris, AP Poll and Coaches' Polls

Here's the reasoning - I think OU lost both games by a single point, and the voters are assuming that Bradford will be back very shortly. They assumption also is that if Bradford had played the second half against BYU and the whole game against Miami, that OU would have likely won. I'm not saying I necessarily am agreeing with that logic, but that's how a talking head explained it on TV recently.

And that's probably true. The crazy thing is, if it is true, that's very sad. I think the polls should go by what a team is doing, not what they SHOULD be doing. That said, we're 5-0.
