Ouch. There are a lot of LSU fans that agree with that.
It wouldn't surprise me if it turns out true and it wouldn't surprise me to see LSU roll over everyone. I truly don't know what to make of this team 4 games in.

I feel like the team that plastered GT, even after that dismal 2nd half of the season last year, is in there somewhere. I just hope they get out before it's too late to save '09.

It really is a Wazzu fan talking ****. And why not?

What, am I supposed to be impressed or intimidated? Can't figure out which on this post.

Brownie points for even knowing who Ryan Leaf was.

I thought I'd come back and take my medicine. The tequila was sure good the night I posted this. For being that lit up, I actually didn't do too bad a job.

Washington is over-hyped. The mighty mutts will be lucky to end up with another win, seriously, and that includes the Apple Cup. If you played in a league as competitive as the Pac-10 you'd find out how difficult it is to run the table. I'm predicting the winner has at least two losses.

I'm not trying to discount the SEC, but do you really honestly think you have three of the top 5 teams in the country right now? Maybe you do, but I'm not so sure. It took a great goal-line stand for you to avoid a face plant against a very average Miss. State team. Or am I wrong about that?

I'll give you this, I enjoy following your team, not so much Florida, and Alabama and Auburn. Maybe it has something to do with those being the only SEC states I've had the privilege of visiting. The rest of the schedule is not that impressive for the most part. Kick it up a notch or two. Kudos for traveling west of the Mississippi. That took some nads. Just think if you'd of lost that game. Season over, right? But you didn't, I know.

It was impressive how well you traveled.

I follow college football just as much as the next guy, and have for well over 50 years.

USC is not the same USC of the last seven years. They are very beatable. Heck, even the lowly Cougs hung with them in the Coliseum last Saturday. And we were arguably the worst team ever assembled last season. Believe what you want. If you get to take the victory over MSU, we get to count ours over UW.

I deserve the trash talking I got here. I should've just kept my opinion to myself. One thing I will tell you about this Coug. I love being a Coug, all alternatives are totally unacceptable.

Very seldom do we have a dominating sports team in any major sport but there are years where we surprise a few folks. The NFL is dotted with Cougs. Pullman is like no other place in the country. One of these days, after we expand our stadium to a very modest 43,000 seats, maybe we can get an SEC type to visit us. It's a longshot, nobody likes to come to Pullman, one of the most isolated college towns in the country.

I admire the passion of the LSU faithful. It's pretty impressive by any standards.

I apologize for talking smack. I have nothing against you folks whatsoever. Take care and good luck in a couple weeks against the Gators. I hope Tebow gets to play so both teams are at full strength. My regards to the great state of Louisiana.

Have you watched your team yet?. That was by far the worst performance (USC game) I have ever seen from a D1 team. Seriously, ever. There is no way your offense would average over 20 points in IAA.

While I agree with the opening two comments there.....you didn't hang with anybody. You do however, have a true frosh QB who will be very good IMO.

And no other team has a phrase unique to their program quite like "Cougin it". Urban Dictionary even says so.

    Understatement of the century.

    True.

Apple Cup goes back to Seattle.......get your Tequila ready Coug.
