can someone explain why and who on the ap gets to vote--- i tried looking it up but havent found anything of substance--- IE why the hell does a sportswrite in south bend, IN have any say so in the AP poll

i dont know if thats a result of lou, but i do know i think i will keep the tv off while he is on this week. i do NOT want to hear him going on and on slobbering all over charlie and nd. *ugh*

It's become exceedingly ridiculous. How that man can be so loyal to a school that threw him under the bus and got rid of him is beyond me.

I used to respect him as a coach--though that was waning after her didn't vote us #1 in '03 (after we'd whipped his team's @$$ all up and down the field.) But he's completely lost it at this point.

I'm not sure that Mark May's perpetually annoyed facial expressions on set when Lou spits/speaks are a put on.

Maybe he did some bad crap in life and he KNOWS he is knocking on deaths door and he figures its his only shot at getting in.

I will preface with " I have not read the entire thread" and say that I think where we are ranked is more than fair.

If you think for 1 second we should be ranked higher (until we prove it) then you are in a dream world. If any of you woke up tomorrow and saw that Fla or USC was on our schedule this weekend you'd all need new underwear in a hurry.

Let the staff do what it is they do and bring this team along. I think we will be fine.

After #5/#6 Okie St and #7/#8 Ohio St lost today, looks like #9/#11 LSU will move up to #7/#9 in the new polls.
