Was wondering where we are at numbers wise at this point. Looking at dandy dons commitment list we have 24 commitments, adding Shomari Clemons and subtracting Gabriel Bryant. Who is out there that we are still recruiting hard? Chad Jones, Joe McNight, Sidell Corely, Steffon Francis, Christian Scott, and Terrance Tolliver perhaps being the primary targets? Maybe also Cameron Heyward and what about Rishaw Johnson, is he being offered? What about Noel Divine, any shot at getting him? How many total can we sign? 28?

There are so many conflicting reports going on right now, it is hard to say...LSU!

Rishaw is headed to Ole Miss just because he was really not pursued by LSU. Everybody seems to think that Noel is headed to Prep School.

I believe we get everybody except Scott, Heyward and possibly McKnight.

If we get Heyward then Corley is out.

Noel Devine will be visiting WV this weekend but he is headed to prep school until he can qualify. Maybe we will take a shot at him again next year if he isnt a solid commit to anyone.

Rishaw was in for a visit this week and enjoyed his visit. However, he said Ole Miss felt like home to him.

We will fight it out for Steffon with FSU and I am worried about how great they are on NSD. Havent heard much about Scott but it is between LSU and Texas with LSU gaining some ground recently.

I say we get JM, CJ, TT and one d-lineman of the two. Also one of the two between SF and CS. Which makes 29 as my guess and we will grey shirt on or two.

I agree with this assessment. And if that happens, we probably finish just behind Florida for the #1 spot, although it will be pretty close.

On FoxSports.com, they show Fla. #1, and I'm not sure whose ratings, but Fla. has 8 5-star rated players in their class. They'll be tough for years.

That championship did a lot for them. Had they been blown out like it was forecasted by many, you would not have seen 8 elite players sign up with Florida. And conversely, I think it has hurt Ohio State's recruiting just the same.
