I hate to burst your bubble son... but we have lost to the #1 and #2 teams, and if you think that LSU would defeat ANYONE else ranked ahead of us or even a few not ahead of us... well then you're just sadly delusional and can't see when something is broken. LSU in all honesty is not a top 10 team this season. I love LSU, and will continue to cheer for them regardless of the record... I just hate to see us consistantly struggle in games when we have more then enough man power to be better than what we are. We've only decisively defeated 3 oppenants this season, and they were nobodies... I don't mind winning close, but with the exception of 2 games... nobody else should've been close after the half. We're averaging ONLY 25ppg, and allowing 13.7ppg... that offensive production isn't going to win you many contests unless our defense pitches total shutouts week in and week out... but the offense leaves them hanging too much. To each their own though, you stay in denial and i'll continue to be a realist.
First of all take the "son" crap and save it for some of the other mental midgets on this board. Your statements are ridiculous, childish and quite frankly indefensible. We lost to the #1 team and were not competitive. Granted. Which mighty college football program has done better against the Gators? Tell me which one. I would like to know. We lost to the #2 team and were extremely competitive. Had we not lost the best qb on the team during the game and had several terrible calls go against us we stood a damn good chance to win the game. But again, I ask you.....which college program has done better? LSU is ranked number 10 I believe. Let's see....which team would LSU beat with Jefferson or without? That really is the question. Without Jefferson I would say it would be a toss-up at best against the rest of the Top 10. But as a fair comparison with Jefferson I'd take LSU to beat the following: Ohio St./Pitt/Ga. Tech/Boise St. Toss up at best against the others. And lastly, sonny boy.....LSU has been ranked in the Top 10 the entire season. You are experiencing the golden era of LSU football and if you are cannot see that then, in the wise words of Tiger Forums poster.....you are sadly delusional.
We held them to one TD and we could have won it with two. Florida did not blow us out and we were competitive. On a good day, yeah.
Never said Florida blew us out. I just never felt like Florida was really in danger of losing that game. We never put them under pressure. I can't remember the scoring sequences in that game but I don't think we ever had the lead, did we?
As far as saying Crowton is predictable, and that he hasn't "opened up his play book"... As far as saying Miles is stifling Crowton by insisting he run a Big 10 type offensive scheme... As far as thinking that Scott up the middle was sending Daniel into the Lion's den... ...I really don't know. It's all really speculation for the armchair coaches to argue about with no real resolution in sight. I, myself, am an armchair coach who finds that the truth lies in the bigger picture. Bottom line of the big picture is ....105th ranked offense in the nation, I believe. Ouch!!
