    Fire him.

Reason: Near complete collapse of the offense all season (not to mention last season, although I blame lack of QB for that. no pass on this this season).

I found the right guy...if you're looking for the best offensive coordinator around. Miles should fire Crowton IMMEDIATELY and replace him with...

    ...C Ray Nagin !!!!!!....

Think about it, this hire would be "offensive" to every type of LSU fan in the world and he'll be available after May 31, 2010. :hihi:. The brother needs a job, help him out !! He'd even be willing to fly anywhere in the world to talk to a prospect and rack up those frequent flier miles.

LSU will also be sure to have plenty of team buses on hand, too. :dis:

That's it...we're on our way to Tuscaloosa with lots of money to buy books with. Do those football players take plastic and give receipts? :hihi:.

I voted NO and I'll tell you why:

First off, I don't want JJ learning a new system going into next year, his Junior year. I want him to master the current system during the spring and fall camp.

Secondly, our offense is losing a ton of seniors- C.Scott, KW, Lafell, Dickson, Hitt, Black, Holliday and 2 more senior wideouts.

I don't want the young guys stepping into starting roles to deal with the pressure of playing AND a new system.

Lastly, and most importantly, this year's team wasn't nearly as talented as the 2007 team was- offensively. If you disagree, go position-by-position. I don't even think it's close.

What I do want, however, is an open competition at all 5 offensive line positions going in to next year. This is the area we need the most improvement from, IMO.

I keep hearing we can't afford his buyout...he is an Offensive Coordinator...NOT A HEAD COACH!!! How much is it?!?!?!? Major Applewhite did not work out at UA and Saban goes out and gets McIlwain....why can't we make a move? We got rid of Mallory and Peveto...

My vote is to fire him! ZERO progression on the offensive side of the ball this year and the same vanilla BS (and mediocrity) game, after game, after game...
