    ULL's Rickey Bustle was dismissed after a 9-year stay in Cajunland. LSU current offensive coordinator Gary Crowton is drawing interest there.

    The rumors are false because UL can not afford him. The amount that UL is looking at right now is around 500-550k. That is far to low for someone like Crowton.

    Last I heard Crowton's OC salary here was $400K, so it is something of an upgrade for him.

    and it certainly beats no salary, which is what he is potentially looking at.

    From what I understand, 400k is Crowton's base. With incentives he is making more like 700k.

    There's no way that he can expect to increase his compensation with his performance the past 3 years. Nowhere to go but down.
