Rumor crushed - ^(*(*% i have mentioned before that buyout might be the problem and why gc's ass is still here. that is very short sighted tho. to keep him when he has failed to produce and has pretty much completely lost the fan fase creates more ill will than anything else. seem to me to be "penny wise and pound foolish" even if it is a lot of pretty pennies.

If they are telling Les to get him another him another job because we cant afford a buyout they are letting Les twist in the wind. Makes one wonder what kind of footing Les has with the big shots if that's the case.

I think all that fabrication about our WR coach paying for Hicks an apartment was made up by someone in TAF trying to get Miles fired for cause. Miles' name cant be brought up in the national media now without the time management stuff being brought up. He is a joke to the voters who pretty much determine who plays for what at the end of the year. Now if LSU goes undefeated no way anyone can keep them out. But what happens if there are a bunch of 1 loss teams at the end of the season. Do you think voters are going to remember all the bonehead moves Miles and staff have made in the past? Before anyone trashes me, remember i am certifiable.

He is owed around 1 mil and the number floating around is he wants 800k for the buyout. They need to come up with the money to do it. Its the same situation with the people who wants Miles gone. The school is not going to pay for it because of the political/economic situation the school is in. There are about to be huge budget cuts and LSU is going to fighting it in the legislature, they don't want to have to fight another argument of well you just paid the outgoing coach so much money, why didn't you use that money to make up for some budget shortages? In the end, GC is holding all the cards, and for him to be gone some people are going to have to step up to pay for it to happen.

I would like to know what the amount of GC's buyout is? I think it is time for a TF fundraiser. I bet we could come up with the cheddar to run him off. I'll donate the $$ I had saved for my new shed.
