Crowton to Bama?

    it's the same people who think only the best basketball coaches in the world would drop what they're doing and come coach at LSU once brady's gone.

    Bama likes to through big names around since they live in the 70's. So Crowton and Norm Chow were handy. They keep trying to land an OC with big bucks and keep getting turned down. Someone will surface who wants the big $$$ soon. And Bama will say they got the hire they wanted from the start. I think we've heard this all before.

    Well, I laughed when I heard they were after Saban so I doubt nothing now. I believe Crowton is better than that and knows he's in the best place he can be but hey, you never know....

    I agree. Crowton has been a head coach twice. He knows what it is. He may have found out he ENJOYS being an OC, doing what he really likes, designing plays and then calling them at the right time. If you want to do that, and your choice is Saban or Miles, I'd go with Miles, who has shown heart, integrity, and good humor.
