It was a rumor that never developed legs. It never made sense. AD's don't force coaches to keep assistants that they no longer want. Aleva is out in front of it this year. uh oh, that would make me think miles is not getting rid of crowton and alleva is washing his hands of it.
I think he's saying clearly that his job is to hire and fire head coaches and it is their job to hire and fire their own assistants.
