Than he is dumber than I thought. He should have "Turned it on" sooner and we would have not needed a penalty to beat UT or "Turned it on" when we were at the 50 tied with 5 minutes at Auburn. Would have been a good time "To turn it on" Good riddance.
That's a misreading of what he meant but I'm not getting into any Crowton arguments. Our offensive stats alone indicated a change was necessary. I just wouldn't look for us to suddenly become an offensive juggernaut.
Lets not forget the Crow helped us win a BCSNC! Best of luck to him. Now let's find the next guy who can win us another crystal!
:geaux: I agree with you Red that the OL was better this year, no doubt. Guess I'm still holding him accountable for '08 &'09. Doubt he's going anywhere, but I think we could do better than Stud as an OL coach. :LSU231:
If you're addressing that to me, nothing happened. I'm just trying to temper expectations which tend to get out of hand around here.
I never said he was. To be perfectly honest, I'm not real sure that Gary Crowton was totally to blame for the lack of offensive production in the passing game.
The O's performance in the end was going to be credited to GC whether he was resonsible or not. Miles would want his resume to shine as much as possible.
