Crowton out at LSU....to Maryland?

    Fast-forward 365 days. . .Maryland among the nations best offenses.

    Fast-forward 730 days. . .Maryland ranked 112th in the nation offensively. :D

    So, if this holds true, who in the heck do we bring in (other than Billy G) to replace him?

    It is the Big East. A three-win season is considered a monumental success there. It'll be perfect for Crowton.

    ACC? I know, I know, same thing. What's interesting to me is that they fired a coach after going 9-4 (5-3) and finishing second in the division to FSU.

    For me...this would be a great thing...rather than having to fire a guy, which I do not think they were going to do, hopefully he see's the writing on the wall(ala no contract extension) and moves on to call plays elsewhere, sorry If I offended people....but thats just my personal feelings.

    So the rumor is Gary Crowton might be headed to Maryland to become your OC. All I can say is I'm sorry. Next season should be great for you guys though. He is a great OC for the first season everywhere he goes and then it goes downhill quickly. He has wasted so much talent at LSU the past 2 seasons. He might be able to do alot with O'Brien, but it gets ugly after that guys. ​
